→What is Zeffy?
Zeffy is a platform nonprofits use to distribute event tickets while securing donations through sponsorships and tickets. Though Zeffy operates on optional fees from donors at check-out, there is no requirement to contribute to Zeffy or to "split fees" or "cover fees" for Zeffy. Please note that optional fees to Zeffy outside of CPAF sponsorships and tickets are not tax deductible and are not directed to CPAF.
→Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Yes, you can. After purchasing a sponsorship/ticket, you will receive an email with ticketing information. You can forward the email to the relevant attendee and they will display it when entering the event.
→Can I print my ticket?
Yes, you can print the ticket emailed to you and display it when entering the event.
→Do I have to print my ticket?
No, you don't. Simply display the ticket from your mobile phone.
→How do I get to the venue?

→Is parking available?
Public transportation is encouraged. Paid parking is available on site. Guests can enter from the corner of Figueroa Street and Exposition Park Drive to park in the "Blue Structure." Walk past the California African American Museum to reach the Wallis Annenberg Building.
→Where can I get dropped-off?
Rideshares can enter from the corner of Figueroa Street and State Drive and drop off guests at Kinsey Drive. Vendors will have separate load-in/load-out instructions closer to the event. Those coming from the Metro station can walk along Exposition Boulevard past Expo Lawn East toward the Wallis Annenberg Building.
→Are tickets refundable?
No, tickets are not refundable.
→What if it rains?
Though the venue is considered outdoor, there is a roof over the event space. However, in the case of extreme weather, the venue has an alternative indoor location we would access.
→Do you accept ACH/wire transfers as a form of sponsorship and tribute ad payment?
Yes, for amounts over $1,000 or more. Please email us at friends@cpaf.ngo.
→Do you accept stock options as a form of sponsorship and tribute ad payment?
No, unfortunately we do not accept stock options/mutual funds as a method of payment for gala sponsorships and tribute ads.
→Is my sponsorship/ticket tax deductible?
CPAF is a 501(c)(3) organization, Federal Tax ID 95-3532351. For federal income tax purposes, the amount of the ticket price that is tax deductible is limited to the excessover the fair market value of food, beverage, and goods provided. The fair market value of the goods provided is $60 per ticket.
→Is there a suggested dress code?
Semi-formal, cocktail attire, and dressy casual welcome. Temperature inside the venue may vary according to the weather that day.
→Will there be food/beverages?
Food and beverage tastings will be provided from a variety of culinary and beverage partners donating their products and services in support of CPAF.
