One of the most time-honored traditions of Emmons Lutheran Church that embraces and celebrates our congregation and community's Norwegian heritage is our annual Lutefisk Supper, which began over 50 years ago during the pastorate of Rev. L. Donald Docken. The Lutefisk supper (which also features meatballs for those not too fond of Lutefisk) is traditionally held on the 2nd Tuesday of November, with two lunch and two supper settings.  It brings together all members of our congregation, young and old, to serve nearly 800 guests. The Ways and Means Committee has announced the date Lutefisk Supper for 2024! We will have 4 settings on November 12th, 2024: 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 7:00 pm. You can also purchase tickets in person from the following places this year:Emmons Lutheran Church Office in Emmons, MNMBT Bank in Lake Mills, IASecurity Bank in Emmons, MN (8 am to 12 pm)Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau in Albert Lea, MN We look forward to seeing all of you this year!
