Farm-Filled Family Fun!

Kiddin' Around is an agri-playtime initiative for children and baby goats to connect on sensory, emotional and physical levels. Enjoy a 30-minute private session for you and your children to engage in safe playtime and bottle feeding with our kids! This is an opportunity to engage in human-animal interaction (HAI), which enhances mental, emotional and physiological well-being. Numerous studies confirm that HAI increases oxytocin, serotonin and dopamine levels, while reducing cortisol and blood pressure. Participants may notice lower levels of stress, anxiety and depression and greater levels of focus and attention. Additionally, HAI promotes feelings of safety and social connection, while reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation. Goats, among the first domesticated animals, share an emotional and evolutionary connection with humans. They recognize emotions and read facial expressions, making them ideal therapy animals. Our socialized goats have a fantastic sense of humor and eagerly seek to bond with you.


How to book a Kiddin' Around session: 

  1. Purchase the length of time (30 or 60 min) and group size (1-3, 4-6, 7-10 participants) that best fits your needs.
  2. We will contact you to schedule your playdate, or you can email us directly at screamingkidsgoatyoga@gmail.com
  3. Complete our waiver & release form (also included in confirmation email upon purchase. 
  4. All Kiddin' Around Sessions are held at The Greater New Orleans Therapeutic Riding Center. ***travel requests to bring the kids to your location are possible for an additional fee.
