California Society, Sons of the American Revolution 152nd Annual Meeting Hosted by the Harbor ChapterJoin us as the Harbor Chapter proudly hosts the 152nd Annual Meeting of the California Society, Sons of the American Revolution, at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles &ndash; San Pedro (Cabrillo), overlooking the harbor that has shaped our region&#39;s rich maritime and military history. Friday: Meetings, Public Service Awards &amp; an Evening Aboard the Battleship Iowa Friday will open with a series of California Society meetings (schedule to be announced), followed by our Public Service Awards, honoring the dedication and service of those who protect and serve our communities. That evening, the celebration moves to the harbor for a guided tour of the Battleship USS Iowa Museum and the Pacific Battleship Center&#39;s Surface Navy Museum, stepping aboard a legendary vessel that served our nation from World War II through the Cold War era. Following the tour, we&#39;ll gather for a special dinner served right on the deck of the Iowa herself &mdash; a rare opportunity to dine amid the history of one of America&#39;s most storied battleships, with the Port of Los Angeles as our backdrop. Saturday: Meetings Continue, Youth Awards, Formal Banquet &amp; State Officer Installation California Society meetings continue Saturday (schedule to be announced), alongside our Youth Awards, recognizing the next generation&#39;s dedication to patriotism and history.
