Youth for Humanity focuses on developing youth, particularly in underserved communities, to prepare them for higher education and future employment opportunities.  With this partnership, participants in the Youth for Humanity's Youth Cinematography Program will intern for a local Atlanta short film production, working directly under the guidance of award winning filmmakers. They will build filmmaking skills as interns on the production of a unique story that promotes diversity in film.Proceeds from the night will go towards the cost of production including camera and lighting equipment rentals, construction supplies, food, and transportation.We thank you for your support! ABOUT THE FILM<div style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit">Forgaten: The Lost Tale of the Aten Kingdom is unique fantasy romance drama, that is inspired by the lives of two iconic figures in ancient African history, and it is a reimagined look at an era in ancient Egypt through the lens of black fantasy. Black fantasy will be what Afrofuturism has been to science fiction, offering readers & viewers a look into science fiction through the black imagination. Starring in this short film production is Nick D. Sagar from Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots and Tyler Perry's upcoming movie Mea Culpa. Across from Nick, will be starring Candace West in their first project together since working on The Haves and the Have Nots. Carrying out the cinematic look will be Alex Glustrom, a local Atlanta director of photography extraordinaire.
