HerUpland Pointing Dog - NoviceRichland Center, WI July 13 - 16, 2023 Join us in Richland Center, WI to help prepare for your upcoming hunting season and/or pointing dog test. The Novice Pointing Dog is for 28 women, four scholarships available for youth girls (applications due May 1, 2023). This camp utilizes testing requirements from NAVHDA NA, JGHV VJP, VHDF HAE and AKC JH as training guides to implement throughout camp. However, this camp is not directly affiliated with any of those organizations. This camp will focus on field search, pointing, obedience, cooperation, recall, retrieving on land and in water, and tracking fur and feather. You and your dog will no doubt benefit from this camp based on the curriculum and experienced instructors volunteering their time for this event.  Ultimately, this camp aims to help better prepare yourself and your dog for the upcoming hunting season and potential testing venue.
