Kids ages 7-14 audition, practice, and perform a musical in one week! Choose between two shows: PRESS START! and Giants in the Sky. When registering, be sure to select the corresponding dates for the camp you want. PRESS START! will be held June 16-20 and June 23-27 while Giants in the Sky will be held July 14-18 and July 21-25. Camp Lighthouse is a &quot;Musical in a Week&quot; for children and youth where participants meet daily for a week to rehearse the selected show, with a performance for family members and friends at the conclusion of the last day. Every participant will be given a part and lines. Campers will read thru the script and audition for a part on Monday, receive cast assignments and begin rehearsals Tuesday, and work on lines, delivery, blocking, etc. until Friday afternoon, when they perform for a live audience. PRESS START! transports us inside the bright, pixelated world of video games! When the famous characters we know and love run out of lives, they decide to put on a musical fundraiser that will help them raise gold rings and play on. Through hilarious and heartfelt musical numbers we see the heroes, villains and sidekicks like we&rsquo;ve never seen them before. But when things go terribly awry, it&rsquo;s the quiet sidekick Little Mushroom who must find the hero within to help save the day! GIANTS IN THE SKY: This magical story explores the world of Giants who live above the clouds. Ever since they left Earth a long time ago, the Giants have made a life up above where their job is to keep the sky beautiful. They polish the stars, poke the clouds to let it rain and paint the sunsets. But there is one curious Giant who wonders what life is like on Earth, so she steals a key to the locked up &ldquo;beanstalk&rdquo; and embarks on an adventure down below!
