Counselor-in-Training Opportunity: Session 1, JULY 20-24
Free

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is a volunteer-based leadership opportunity for teens ages 15 and older interested in working with children and gaining hands-on camp experience.

CITs support camp activities under the guidance of staff, build leadership skills, and receive community service hours. This is an unpaid, educational program designed to provide mentorship, skill-building, and meaningful community involvement.

Participants gain:

  • Leadership experience
  • Hands-on work with younger campers
  • Resume-building experience
  • Verified community service hours

Please note that this is a volunteer opportunity for ages 15 and older and is not employment. CITs participate for educational and leadership development purposes and do not receive wages. Participants:

  • Assist camp staff in a supervised, supportive role
  • Do not replace paid staff or assume staff-level responsibilities
  • Receive mentorship, training, and documented community service hours upon completion of participation requirements.

All CITs must have parent/guardian consent and agree to program expectations.
