Join Team DC&rsquo;s Capital Pride Parade Contingent 🏳️&zwj;🌈🏅 Register here to walk with LGBTQ+ athletes, allies, and sports fans as we celebrate inclusion and visibility in sports. Team DC is proud to bring together our LGBTQ+ sports community, athletes, leagues, teams, supporters, and friends for one of the biggest celebrations of Pride in Washington, DC. Whether you play, cheer, volunteer, or simply believe in the power of inclusive sports, we invite you to march with us and help show the strength, joy, and visibility of Team DC. Each individual marcher must RSVP so we can plan appropriately and communicate important parade-day updates. Teams and leagues are encouraged to show their pride by wearing jerseys, team shirts, or league gear. Marchers may also carry single-handed signs or clack fans to promote their individual teams or leagues. Please note: only one banner is allowed in our contingent, and that will be the official Team DC banner. Team DC will line up in the Green Zone on 15th Street NW, between R and Q Streets NW. Teams are encouraged to arrive around 2:00 PM to help decorate the Team DC truck before we step off. The parade begins at 14th and T Streets NW and ends at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Walkers will turn onto Pennsylvania Avenue at dispersal and should follow all directions from parade marshals, MPD, traffic control, and security. Please come prepared: bring water, sunscreen, a fully charged phone, and a portable charger if you have one. Wagons, hand trucks, and strollers are permitted for walkers. For everyone&rsquo;s safety, nothing may be thrown from the contingent; items may only be handed directly to spectators. Confetti, weapons, and sirens are not permitted. Come ready to march, celebrate, and show Washington, DC what LGBTQ+ sports community looks like!
