Christina Prezzemolo Crowley is a South Florida artist with over thirty years of experience working in watercolor, oil, collage, and mixed media. Inspired by nature, history, and the human experience, her work explores the emotional connection between people and the natural world through luminous color, atmosphere, and realism. She creates many of her own pigments from botanicals she grows and forages, and incorporates handmade paper and heirloom textures into her collages, including impressions made with her grandmother’s century-old crocheted lace. Christina holds a BFA with a minor in Art History from Florida State University and continues to teach, exhibit, and create throughout South Florida.

Original Mixed Media Painting
"Find Your Unique" by South Florida artist Ally Bee is a layered, abstract mixed-media work that radiates both energy and serenity. The canvas is filled with dynamic brushstrokes in teal, turquoise, lavender, and blush pink, intersected with scratch marks and textured overlays that create a sense of motion and depth. Areas of heavy impasto contrast with translucent washes, allowing colors to bleed, merge, and vibrate against one another.
Embedded within the layers are fragments of collage text—one phrase reads “Find your unique”—giving the work a contemplative and affirmational quality. The words appear almost hidden, like a message waiting to be discovered within the chaos of texture and color.
The interplay of rough and delicate marks captures Ally Bee’s signature style of balancing emotion and motion. The scratched and distressed surfaces evoke resilience and process, while the pastel palette lends an ethereal, Zen-like tranquility. This combination reflects her South Florida influence: coastal hues, light play, and an undercurrent of personal storytelling.
Overall, the piece invites viewers to pause and search beyond the surface, discovering both its hidden text and their own reflection in its layered abstractions. It is both a visual meditation and a celebration of individuality.

Series: Natural Progressions
For the second piece in this series, I wanted to intentionally use some colors I don't use as often, combined in ways I don't usually combine them.
At the same time, I wanted to continue exploring the present-moment expressiveness of this series… to get into motion creating the painting, and staying in motion without questioning my actions or over-thinking things.
What resulted was a composition I naturally loved and have been gravitating towards, with the standard darker border and darker bottom section.
To me, the dark border contains the picture, while the darker bottom section holds more weight at the bottom, creating a sense of stability, like the keel of a sailboat.
Julian Castro is a Fort Lauderdale based artist whose original works explore the unseen experiences beneath everyday life. The emotions, cycles, and quiet synchronicities that shape who we become. An artist his entire life, Julian draws on astrology, meditation, and spiritual practices to inspire his wondrous abstract compositions, hoping to inspire viewers to connect more deeply with their true selves. As an independently represented artist, Julian sells directly to collectors who connect with his blend of cosmic curiosity and emotional depth. His pieces are collected across the US and abroad.

Series: Synchronicity
Let's talk about fear for a minute. Specifically, the fear of wasting your precious time and life.
One of the top regrets of people on their death beds is not having lived the lives they wanted because they let fear stop them.
The fear of what? Being judged by others? Not making enough money? These "risks" are present in any path you choose, so might as well choose the life you want. That's my belief, at least.
It may not be the easiest path, but it's the most beautiful and rewarding path.
My "Synchronicity Series" of paintings represents the beauty that emerges from taking risks.
The process of this series welcomes much more chaos and risk than other styles I work in, because I intentionally use this swiping technique that does not leave me much control.
However, over years of working in this style, I have learned how to work the wet layers of paint in a way to produce beautiful results. I guess this mirrors the skills we learn in working our lives in ways to manage risks and create a life we love.

THE MELTING POT
24" x 36" PRINT ON CANVAS
As an artist deeply rooted in the vibrant cultures of Puerto Rico and influenced by the dynamic pulse of New York City and South Florida, my work reflects a journey of self-discovery and resilience. From the moment I stepped into the bustling streets of New York at 17, I embraced the challenges and opportunities that life presented, allowing my experiences to shape my artistic vision. Throughout my artistic career, I have sought to create spaces for dialogue and connection, sharing my work in significant exhibitions both locally and globally.

As an artist, I am drawn to the ethereal, elegant beauty of the underwater world. Through my photography, I seek to capture the whimsical grace and life-giving essence of water. Water is the source of all life on our planet, a powerful healing force that soothes the mind and soul. My artistic mission is to induce the rejuvenating "blue mind" effect by transporting viewers into the tranquil depths through my images. I believe immersing oneself in these serene aquatic visions can be transformative. These tranquil, powerful scenes inspire awe, and forge a deeper connection to our planet's vital aquatic ecosystems.

Follow your heart to create ripples in the world.
In April 2023, my dad passed away after his slow mental decline of Alzheimer’s and aphasia brain disorders - eventually leading to his inability to communicate, yet living in the moment. I reflect on this time in gratitude. I'm grateful for the moments and memories spent with him, listening to his favorite music and dancing with him.
Ally Bee paintings explore the relationship between visual rhythm and the brain’s ability to shift into calm, restorative states. Inspired by the concept of neuroplasticity - I build layered compositions of flowing lines, mirrored forms, and textured color. These patterns echo natural rhythms found in water, geology, and organic growth. Through repetition and movement, the work invites viewers to slow down, offering a moment of visual tranquility and reflection within the constantly moving landscape of the mind.

Original Painting
My artwork has always revolved around vibrant colors, unique concepts, and bold styles.
Every painting I’ve created has always had a strong central focus to the use of bold, vivid colors. Lighting and shadows take precedence to create a strong depth, without sacrificing my range of pigment. The subject matters I choose are all over the place. I believe an artist should never be limited to one precise style or subject, unless one chooses to do so. Our world is full with incredible landscapes, powerful inventions, and the most awe inspiring creatures. This range of life cannot be contained and neither can my art. You'll find a sassy cat with sunglasses on next to a serene tropical landscape and everything in between.
In the end my vision is to create one of a kind works of art that will bring happiness and inspiration to all who see it.
