Thank you for volunteering!  Every 4 hours total that you help out, you'll get one day free at RinCon.  There are many ways to get involved, both before and during the convention - check out all the links to see what works best for you.  To sign up for shifts, select 1 in the drop-down menu for each shift you'd like, and then click on "Select" at the bottom of the page.

This is the form to sign up for helping out onsite as a roving facilitator ("runner") during RinCon 2024 (November 15-17).  Duties require the ability to navigate the entirety of the convention space and carry things with you, interact with convention and hotel staff as well as attendees, and be a friendly, patient, and helpful problem-solver.  Your home base will be the registration desk, but you'll be performing tasks throughout the convention space, like checking in with the staff running different areas of the convention, filling in briefly for volunteers or staff who need a bio-break, delivering items to locations as needed, light trash pick-up and straightening, helping BG hosts find players and players find games, helping the RPG Champion at the starts of RPG timeslots, and answering attendees' questions (or helping them find the staff member who can do so).  There will always be one RinCon board member or designated shift supervisor per shift for support as needed.
