MTWThF- 8:30-12:00pm Creative Writing Camp- Each week has a different theme: 6/26 - 6/30 = Aliens Are Awesome For this week, students will create their own aliens! What planet are they from? What do they look like? What does their alien do for fun? 7/17 - 7/21 = Superheroes vs Supervillains For this week, students will decide whether to create a superHERO or superVILLAINS! What is their super power? Super name? Why is their character a hero or villain? 8/7 - 8/11 = Wild Things For this week, students will be creating a wild thing! What did their wild thing do? How can their wild thing learn to be nice and kind? Instructor- Chrissy Bauman- Heya! I'm Chrissy, and I've always loved reading and writing. Imagination can truly flourish in creative writing courses — while simultaneously teaching children the power of understanding different perspectives. I've tutored dozens of kids and specialize in rephrasing lessons to help each student learn at their level of understanding. My teaching style tends to include inventive games where the students and I work together to accomplish goals! A bit more about me? I'm mother to two wonderful boys. I'm currently working towards my masters in psychology and communications. I also have a professional background in business and social media/marketing.
