Clerical Error Productions combines the golden age of Hollywood and the golden age of television with Call Me Kate: Katharine Hepburn Tells It Like It Is. Inspired by her 1973 TV interview with Dick Cavett, the play recreates a live television broadcast, capturing the Hollywood legend at her wittiest and most reflective. The second act includes a brief Q&A to allow the audience to become part of the show and ask the star about her fascinating life, famous loves, and an esteemed career that spanned six decades.
Call Me Kate: Katharine Hepburn Tells It Like It Is was written by Kate Duffy, who also plays the title role. Jon Lindley directs.
A Mass Ave. and IndyFringe favorite since 2018, Clerical Error Productions is an Indianapolis based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit theatre company specializing in original comedy, vaudeville, and production assistance.
