Hello!

Volunteering for the youth drop-in center for Belong: Fox Valley is more than being a volunteer. It's an opportunity to be a constant adult in their lives. An adult who sees them for who they are. And is committed to being that person on a weekly basis.

The drop-in will be open Tuesdays from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church on 38 in Geneva across from the fire station. Group will run from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Volunteers will help with set up and clean up.

We are looking for:

- One regular volunteer who can make the commitment to meet weekly.

- Two "on deck" volunteers who could fill when there is a scheduling process.

All family members and educational professionals who work with potential attendees will be considered ineligible for the in room volunteer role and the in room volunteers must be over the age of 25. 

There are many more opportunity's to work with the youth in our community. Some events (past and present) include Queer Teen Prom, holiday break chosen family game night, and Halloween party's.

The official Start date is pending but the goal some time in January. 

Join us on a Zoom meeting to discuss what would be involved, general discuss about working with youth and other possible opportunities.
