Spring 2023 Children's Workshops

Springfield Ballet's summer workshop engages boys and girls (age 3–8) in a morning of fun and dance that includes learning roles from the ballet, crafts, games, a synopsis of the story and a surprise guest performance. No dance experience is needed to attend this enriching ballet introduction.

SummerWorkshop:

Aladdin - Sunday, February XX at 3:00 - 5:00 pm
The Wizard of Oz - Sunday, March XX at 3:00 - 5:00 pm

All workshops are held at The Creamery Arts Center. Children are not required to have dance experience to attend - this is open to all!

Participants should wear comfortable attire (stretch/sweat pants and t-shirt or leotard and tights), bare feet or dance shoes.

Cost is $20 per workshop or $35 for both.

I give permission for Springfield Ballet, Inc. ("SBI") to take and publish photos and/or videos of my child and to use such photos/videos for publications, promotional purposes, website, media press releases and coverage with no fee paid to my child or me. I understand and acknowledge that there is a possibility of injury or damage from participating in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, or related activities, and that I will not hold SBI, or any SBI agent, representative, faculty member, employee, board member, director, insurer, or guest (including but not limited to guest artist) liable for any injury sustained or illness contracted by myself or my minor child(ren) while performing any activity at, for, through, or on behalf of SBI. I, on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren), hereby exempt and release SBI and its agents, representatives, employees, board members, directors, insurers, and guests (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, or injury, death, and/or damage to or loss of any personal property which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any activity with SBI to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law. I specifically and expressly release and discharge the Released Parties, on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren), of and from liability for any personal injury, death, and/or property damage arising out of any NEGLIGENCE, active or passive, of the Released Parties. I understand that I am giving up important legal rights on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren) which I may otherwise have by entering into this Agreement and participating in any activity at, by, or through SBI.*
