We will be meeting at the gorgeous Hidden River grounds for an evening of networking, dinner, and learning through a panel discussion!&nbsp; This workshop is designed for clinicians, athletic trainers, and coaches who want to move beyond general knowledge of eating disorders into the specific, high-stakes context of sport. This panel discussion will explore how the same discipline, body awareness, and performance focus that make athletes excel can also mask or normalize disordered eating and training behaviors. Participants will learn how to distinguish normal sport-related eating and training behavior from the early warning signs of a clinical problem, and when to intervene. We will unpack RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport), its physiological components, and how low energy availability cascades into hormonal, bone, cardiovascular, and psychological consequences. Participants will learn three evidence-based interventions to utilize within this population.
