We’re bringing it back home! Join us for Celebrating Our Culture Parade & Cook-Out, a community-wide celebration honoring the history, families, culture, and legacy of East Austin. This year, Jump On It returns to Rosewood Park—where it all began—for a day filled with community pride, music, food, family, history, and unity. We’re bringing back the spirit of the Old Anderson to East Austin parade, celebrating generations of community while highlighting the Original Families of the historic Negro District and the stories that helped shape East Austin. And yes… WHO WANTS THE SMOKE? 🔥 The Cook-Off is BACK! We’re calling on the best cooks, pitmasters, family recipes, and backyard legends to step up, fire up the grill, and compete for bragging rights. But this event is bigger than a parade and cook-off. It’s about celebrating our history and celebrating our culture together.
