Manatee River Garden Club, Inc.

This is a FREE Business Casual Event hosted by the Members of the Manatee River Garden Club. We will have a fun night auctioning beautiful plants for your home and garden. All proceeds earned from our Plant Auction will be used to fund our Scholarship Programs.

General Admission - RSVP Required

On Thursday January 26th, we will relaunch our Annual Plant Auction. Our plan is to serve guests an exclusive tasting of wine and cheese pairings along with light appetizers. Later that evening we will start our Live Plant Auction, where guests will be able to bid on many different types of plants for their yards, garden & home.  We are working with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce to build a prominent guest list of like-minded people who will enjoy an evening out celebrating with friends and raising money for a great cause. All proceeds earned from our Plant Auction will be used to fund our Manatee River Garden Club Scholarship Programs. All scholarships benefit Manatee County Students majoring in horticulture, agricultural research, environmental studies or other related fields. Last year we had such amazing applicants, we had to split our award in two! This year we hope to raise more money to fund the education of the many qualified students fitting this criteria.  We also grant scholarships to students in grade 3-8 to attend the Wekiva Youth Residential Nature Camp. This allows students to spend time learning Florida nature protection, teaching nature studies & conservation. We are very passionate about giving back to our youth and helping to sustain the natural beauty of Florida. Our Sponsors are very dedicated to giving back to the community as well. We have partnered with Cipriano Cucina & Bar, Sam's Club, Total Wine & More, Publix, The Home Depot & Walmart. Not to mention many local nurseries, landscaping companies & members who will be donating a wide assortment of plants & flowers for you to bid on.
