🌙 Celebrate the moon and harvest season this Mid-Autumn Festival with Chai Culture Club,&nbsp;in collaboration with <a fr-original-style="" href="https://lunariumspokane.com/" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Lunarium</a>, as we feast on earthly delights and listen to moon-inspired poetry. Local poet <a fr-original-style="" href="https://asyias.poetry.blog/about/" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Asyia Gover</a> will lead a poetry workshop activity and host an open mic to hear each other&#39;s writings! 🗓️ Sunday, September 27, 2026⏰ 11am-1pm (doors at 10:45am)📍 <a fr-original-style="" href="https://lunariumspokane.com/" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Lunarium</a> (1925 N Monroe St, Suite A, Spokane, WA 99205) 🎟️ RSVP Required, Limited Seats. She was raised by and now proudly co-hosts Spokane&#39;s longest-running poetry event, Broken Mic. Additionally, she has been privileged to serve Spokane as a judge for Poetry Out Loud Eastern Washington Regional Finals (2026) and as a guest editor of the Spokane poetry anthology, Down River, Deep Root (Carbonation Press, 2026). In April 2026, Asyia launched Camassia Creative Media, a micro-printing service that seeks to elevate community writers and artists by providing flexible, relationship-oriented publishing options. Asyia&rsquo;s work seeks to capture a queer, third-culture perspective on ordinary life and folk traditions. Depending on the season, you might find her harvesting fruits and veggies from the backyard garden, walking along the beach at low tide, curled up with a good book, or spinning donuts in a snowy parking lot. ___ About Chai Culture Club ACL Spokane&rsquo;s Chai Culture Club&nbsp;aims to collectively nurture and critically discuss the complexities of Asian and Asian American identities. We host gatherings and spaces of belonging where club members can experience divergent cultural media and celebrate their diverse identities. &nbsp; Club membership is free and open to any Asians/Asian Americans in the Spokane area.
