Bob Haro founded freestyle BMX in the early 1980s and became an icon of the sport. When Steven Spielberg needed a team of BMX stunt riders, Bob was called to help organize what would be the iconic chase scene in the 1982 four-time Oscar winner, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, where Elliot and his friends evade federal authorities on their BMX bikes to get ET to his ship. 

Bob's boyhood friend and aspiring action-sports photographer, James Cassimus traveled with Bob, and on this day happened to shoot some iconic behind-the-scenes shots of the filming of ET. No other documentation of the production of that scene exists today.

This is a 12 x 18 print, signed by Bob Haro himself and is framed.
