Register your child for Chess Club at Serene Lake Elementary! ♟️ Mondays, 3:30&ndash;4:45 p.m. in Room 1. This Spring session of Chess Club, with nine (9) classes, will hold the first class on April 13th. We will meet weekly and hold the final class on June 15th. We will not meet on May 25th. Two coaches, both with significant tournament and coaching experience, will teach this class, to ensure that there is a group for both beginner and advanced students. The coaches will be Coach Travis (U.S. Chess rating 1910) and Coach Slava (FIDE 1852). All students, from those just learning the piece movements, to tournament players, Kindergarten through fifth grade, are welcome to join!
