Recruitment Information Night | Monday March, 23rd| 7:00pm- 8:00pm | Coachlite Skate Center New Crew Training Program | Spring 2026Starts April 20, 2026Mondays: TBDWednesdays: TBD Practice is 2x weekly for 9 weeks total. Our New Crew program is structured in accordance with WFTDA minimum skills. In this 9 week course you will work with Chicago-Style coaches to build the skating skills required for game play or officiating including skating posture, stride, crossovers, stops and more.You must be 18 years or older to join Chicago-Style Roller Derby. There are three payment options available:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">$180 paid in full.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">Two Payments of $90 due April 20th and June 22nd</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">Limited Time: &nbsp;$140 Early bird pricing until April 13th</li></ul>The following is a required list of gear:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">multi-impact helmet</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">wrist guards</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">knee pads</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">elbow pads</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">quad skates</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">mouth guards</li></ul>Chicago-Style strives to make the sport of roller derby accessible for everybody.
