In the Chicano community, our differences unite us, we dance to the same tunes, cruise on the same streets, share estilo, eat the very best food, and of course, can relate on many levels. 

We believe that all of our flavors make unity and strength. Gatekeeping was not a word or a thought when our ancestors came together, and it would be foolish to divide who we are now. 

We have more in common than we do differences. This is the building and leveling up of our community and honoring the history-long fight for equality and respect. 

We do not need to change, blend in, or tone down in order to be accepted or succeed. We do not need approval, or support from anyone who does not understand this movement. 

We will continue to make noise, create space and be unapologetically proud of everything that makes us who we are, not just Latino/Indigena, but an even more complex community of Chingones that share talent, goals, and beauty as Chicanos, "de aqui & de alla".
