This year, two parks in Downtown Kingsport will be transformed into winter wonderlands. You will receive a map to show you which park and location your tree will be placed no later than November 16th.  As a tree sponsor, you will have 8 X 10 signage secured beside your tree.  Below are the guidelines.  We will provide you with a 7-8’ tree that is secured in a stand and city staff will keep the trees watered throughout the month.  Guidelines:§  Decorators must provide their own decorations and lighting. (No lights that are controlled by remote)§  Decorators must provide a 10-foot outdoor-rated extension cord.§  Decorations should be firmly attached to branches using wire, twine or small zip ties to protect against removal.§  Decorators will be provided with one live Christmas tree (approx. 6’ tall) with tree stand, access to electrical and an 8 x 10 sign with business/organization name adjacent to tree.§  Your tree can represent your business/organization.  Logos are acceptable. §  No offensive or inappropriate décor.  We reserve the right to remove displays for any reason.Lighting Specifics:§  We recommend using LED lights only.  (No lights that are controlled by remote)§  We recommend using minimum 500 lights per tree. Decorating Times:§  Times for decorating: November 26th – December 3rd, 2026.  Trees must be decorated by December 3rd.§  Decorations and lighting to be removed from trees between January 4-6, 2027.
