Here is some useful information:   Doors open at 7:00pm. The Cathedral will close at 6:00pm for setup, and doors will reopen at 7:00. The concert begins at 7:30pm and runs approximately 90 minutes, including intermission. Location & Where to Enter  The address of the Cathedral is 804 9th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104.    IMPORTANT NOTICE: Construction on <a href="https://www.stjames-cathedral.org/music/LinkedDocs/The-Portico-Project.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">the Portico Project</a> will close the Marion and Terry entrance and the restrooms there from January 6 through the end of February. During this time, the box office will move to the south Columbia Street/Archbishop Murphy Courtyard entrance, which is ADA accessible. To minimize congestion at the south entrance, we ask those who purchase tickets in advance and who are able to navigate stairs to please enter through the west 9th Avenue entrance. During concerts, an ADA restroom will be available in the west vestibule of the Cathedral, and additional facilities will be available outside of the south entrance of the Cathedral and in an adjacent building. Thank you for your patience as we complete this exciting project! There are temporarily only two Cathedral entrances for concerts:   - The Columbia Street/Courtyard entrance is on the south side of the Cathedral near the Chapel. ADA accessible via a ramp. The Box Office to purchase walk-up tickets is located at this entrance.  - The 9th Avenue entrance is on the west side of the Cathedral. This entrance is NOT accessible to those who use a wheelchair or have other mobility issues that preclude the use of stairs. To minimize congestion at the box office entrance, we ask those who purchase tickets in advance and who are able to navigate stairs to please enter through this door.   Tickets and Seating Please bring a printed or electronic copy (on smartphone or tablet) of your ticket to the concert to be scanned. You may check in at any entrance. If you’re unable to print your ticket and don’t have an electronic device, your name and the number of tickets will be on a printed list at the door (for tickets purchased before 5:00pm on 2/21/2025).   Your ticket offers a guaranteed seat, but not a specific seat. Concert seating is first come, first served. Please note that some seats, indicated by signs, are reserved for Friends of Cathedral Music donors.   If you or a member of your party has a specific seating need (wheelchair, aisle seat for walker, etc.), please contact us in advance at musicoffice@stjames-cathedral.org or 206-382-4874, and we will make sure that you are accommodated.   Parking Information  - Limited free parking (~65 spaces) is available in the O'Dea High School parking lot, entrances on Marion and Columbia Streets between Terry and Boren Avenues.   - The Cabrini Garage (Marion St. between Terry & Boren Aves.) closes at 8:00pm and is not available for concert parking.. - Paid street parking is enforced until 8:00pm.   - Parking for Disabled Parking Permits is on the west side of Terry Avenue, between Marion and Columbia Streets. A passenger drop-off space is on the southwest corner of Terry Ave. at Marion St.   - There is a small pay lot across the street from the Cathedral on 9th Avenue. Larger pay lots are located at 711 Madison Street and 1013 8th Avenue.  - If you park at a garage in the neighborhood, be sure to check the closing time! Public Transportation  St. James Cathedral is within a few blocks of a number of bus lines and the First Hill Streetcar.
