The City of the Dead &mdash; 1960, 78 min, John Moxey. In Whitewood, Massachusetts, a presumed witch places a curse on the town before she is burned at the stake. 300 years later, a college student arrives and checks into the mysterious Raven&rsquo;s Inn to research the town&rsquo;s history with witchcraft. Cinema at The Bower is a new program that invites the community to experience the artistry of film through the lens of bold visionaries, rich themes, and historical context in a brand new black box cinema. Curated and presented by Kay Lynch, founder of Salem Horror Fest and film lecturer at Coolidge Corner Theatre.
