On February 17, 2025, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Hawaiʻi Section will be debuting the film Cities of the Future, narrated by award-winning actor and director, John Krasinski.  Cities of the Future features five young ASCE members working to solve the world’s most pressing challenges with inspiring solutions. It also follows a team of middle school students as they compete in the <a href="https://futurecity.org/" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit">Future City Competition</a>. The ASCE Hawaiʻi Section will be hosting two (2) screenings of Cities of the Future at Regal Windward Stadium 10 to attract those that are curious and/or interested in engineering. Additionally, before each screening we will be having a short panel discussion to highlight the engineering field and inspire attendees to pursue a career in engineering. In order to put on a production of this magnitude and to be able to offer tickets to students at a low price, we are seeking corporate sponsors. For a $500 donation, your company logo will be included in our printed program and other promotional materials (e.g., ASCE Hawaiʻi Section website, on-screen before/after the film screening, at the ASCE booth during the HCES E-Week, etc.).
