What happens when the place you call home becomes a place you can no longer afford? When the close-knit residents of an apartment building gather to mourn their beloved matriarch, Angela Martin, they receive devastating news: their building has been sold, and the new owners are demanding a 200% rent increase. Faced with an impossible choice to pay up or move out, the residents must confront what it means to lose not just their homes, but the community they've built together. American Legacy Theatre presents the world premiere of Clos(in)g, a new drama by Playwright-in-Residence Megan Benjamin Bennett. Blending humor and heartbreak, Clos(in)g explores the meaning of home, belonging, and the people who make a place worth fighting for.
