This extraordinary table is more than furniture. It is a story of creativity, teamwork, and purpose.

What began as a random, ordinary table was completely re-imagined by our individuals who attend Tinkerhaus, our hands-on creativity program. Every step of this project was completed from start to finish by our team: disassembling the original piece, sanding, staining, and carefully reassembling it piece by piece. Each element was hand-selected and brought to life through imagination, teamwork, and pride in the skills they are developing. 

The custom light fixture was the next chapter of the journey, made possible by a generous volunteer who donated his time and skills to help bring the vision to light.

Still, something was missing - a piece that said "We are Amesbury". To complete the project, the team took a trip to our local Carriage Museum, where they selected a coaster and cup to incorporate into the final design, grounding this piece in community and hometown pride.

This project began in early April 2025 and was proudly completed in December 2025. It stands as a true testament to what is possible when creativity is encouraged and abilities are celebrated.
