There are also plenty of volunteer opportunities available which do not require manual labor, so don't let that stop you from signing up.

The Bridgeton Rotary Club is excited to announce our community project for 2025... the Cohanzick Zoo Renovation Project! &nbsp;Who else out there loves the Cohanzick Zoo and thinks it is a true gem of western Cumberland County!? &nbsp;The Bridgeton Rotary Club agrees with you and is looking for volunteers to come assist us to make this gem truly shine! &nbsp;Come join us the weekend of October 11th &amp; 12th and wear your yardwork attire because we will be out there spreading mulch, painting, removing dead foliage and replacing it with new. Bridgeton Rotary Club is a lunch club which does great things in our local community. &nbsp;We feed and shower the homeless, donate to fight food insecurity, donate for youth scholarship programs, honor our veterans, ring the bell for the salvation army, do roadside cleanups, and try to tackle other needs within the community when they arise (such as the zoo renovations).
