Join Collegium Vocale community chorus (Kevin Hibbard, conductor) and their special guests the DeKalb School of the Arts Chorale (Jared Duncan, conductor) for a captivating evening of choral masterworks that span centuries.&nbsp; Experience the Baroque grandeur of Durante&rsquo;s Magnificat, the intimate delicacy of Elgar&rsquo;s part-song Spanish Serenade&nbsp;(on a text of Henry W. Longfellow), and the sweeping, cinematic journey of Elaine Hagenberg&rsquo;s Illuminare. Using lesser-known sacred Latin texts, the piece takes us through a season of beauty and goodness that has been disrupted by darkness and confusion. But as Light gradually returns, hope is restored, illuminating our future and guiding us in peace.&nbsp; The DeKalb School of the Arts Chorale is an award-winning ensemble fresh off their featured performance at the Georgia Conference of the American Choral Directors Association.
