Flowing blue watercolor strokes and gold metallic lines sweep across a plain cream background.

Stress has a way of shrinking our world. We brace, we cope, we stick to what we know. And play? That often disappears first. Here’s the fascinating part: Play isn’t just fun. It’s a powerful way for our nervous systems to learn new responses to stress. Kali Connection Therapy® (KCT) uses neuroscience-informed rhythmic tapping sequences, movement, and connection to challenge old stress patterns and build a greater sense of safety and empowerment. And here’s what I love: People often arrive uncertain and leave smiling, rediscovering what joy and strength actually feel like in their bodies. Remember The Karate Kid? Wax on, wax off? Here’s the twist: You’re learning real-life self-defense skills without even realizing it. You don’t need to be fit, coordinated, or even in the mood to play. All bodies welcome. Jump in, give it a try, or simply watch. Choice is part of the practice. This playful introduction is also a great way to discover whether KCT might be a good fit for you. Intentionally small groups. Real connection. No pressure to perform. Drop in anytime! Each class stands on its own. Come to play. Leave empowered. Facilitated by Mara Giovanni, MSW
