The Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC) planned to present the Common Good Mutual Aid Auction to benefit artists in Western North Carolina and Orange County in August at the Eno Arts Mill in Hillsborough. On July 7, Tropical Storm Chantal flooded Orange County, causing destruction throughout our towns of Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro. Artists have suffered loss of studios, supplies, cars, and in some cases, housing. The Eno Arts Mill, home to the Orange County Arts Commission, was destroyed in the flood and is closed indefinitely. &nbsp;As a result, funds raised from Common Good will now support artists who live or work in Orange County to help them in their recovery efforts. 20% of the funds raised will support our new host for the exhibit, The ArtsCenter in Carrboro.&nbsp;<p fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit; width: 455.069px; margin: 0px; line-height: 1.5; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Roboto; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;" style="box-sizing: inherit; width: 455.069px; margin: 0px; line-height: 1.5; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Roboto; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;"> <div data-block="true" data-editor="4p3vj" data-offset-key="84vhl-0-0" fr-original-style="box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: proxima-nova, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;" style="box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: proxima-nova, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; line-height: 1.5;"><div data-offset-key="84vhl-0-0" fr-original-style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10.5px;" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10.5px; line-height: 1.5;">All are invited to join the exhibit opening&nbsp;Friday, August 15, 2025, 6-9pm at the The ArtsCenter in Carrboro. &nbsp;</div>Approximately 60 works will be on display* at the ArtsCenter Friday August 15-September &nbsp;22.&nbsp;The gallery is open:&nbsp;Monday &ndash; Friday: 10am &ndash; 9PMSaturday: 10 am &ndash; 5pm&nbsp;*All 123 artworks can be viewed online </div>Auction Dates:&nbsp;August 15 through September 21.
