The NCNW Philadelphia Section, in partnership with Jack and Jill of America, Black Tech Philly, the Blacks in Technology Foundation, and the 14th Police District, presents a dynamic, multi-topic community workshop designed to inform, empower, and protect families and residents across generations at the Lovett Memorial Library.&nbsp; This interactive workshop will explore&nbsp;emotional intelligence in children, promote awareness of&nbsp;algorithmic bias, and demystify&nbsp;surveillance and privacy protections&nbsp;in an increasingly digital world. Participants will also gain insight into&nbsp;AI and the future workforce, understand&nbsp;why voting matters in every election, and learn practical strategies for&nbsp;crime prevention and community safety. Together, these sessions foster informed decision-making, civic engagement, digital literacy, and collective responsibility&mdash;strengthening families and communities through education, advocacy, and action.
