Thanks for Registering! We're looking forward to seeing you at the Concealed Carry Skill Builder Class on June 28, 2025. This email contains some initial details so you can begin preparing for the full day of training. I'm sure you've heard the saying, "to a boy with a hammer, everything looks like a nail."  We definitely don't want to create the hammer-syndrome with you and your pistol! But this class is focused on particular situations that may require the use of a pistol to defend yourself and those you love.  We will practice multiple skills, techniques, and procedures to make split-second decisions and develop the necessary awareness and abilities to provide protection with that tool.   Permit Students - Online Learning If you intend to complete the requirements for the Missouri Concealed Carry Permit,  an online block of instruction is required for the permit.  The entire course will take you about 4-5 hours to complete.  You must pass the open book/open notes quiz at the end of the course for us to be able to give you the Missouri concealed carry class certificate.  You will receive a separate email with the link to enroll in the online portion.  There is no additional cost.  We send this link manually--so please give us some time to get it to you.   You can reach out to Andre directly and request the link by text at 636-206-8640.  I'd be happy to hear from you! The shooting qualification requirement will be met through live fire at the range.  We'll provide ample training and practice for you to pass the qualification. What to ExpectExpect to be on your feet a good portion of the day.  We'll spend most of the day conducting dry practice drills outside (Hat!  Sunscreen!  Water!) to hone your draw skills, pistol retention (not letting the bad guy get your gun), target acquisition, distinguishing threats, and guaranteeing shots.  We'll also spend ample time on gun manipulation (loading, unloading, reloading while shooting, etc.) Dry practice is the most effective way to develop skills into techniques, and techniques into procedures. We'll discuss and practice protocols and procedures necessary for self-defense. These earbuds are the latest from Axil at the same price you would pay for a pair on their website for one set. If you would like to purchase a set, please let us know prior to class so we can bring them, and charge the battery for you in advance.  Cash or check only, please, as we're essentially being reimbursed our cost.  (credit card processing skims a bit too much on this item.) Those of us who have purchased these have had to go through a process of trial-and-error to find the right fit.  The set comes with multiple size foam ends.  Expect to experiment until you find the right fit for yourself.
