Two seasoned guitarists with well known resumes (Shea with Wanda Jackson, R.E.M, and others, Gilkyson with Tom Waits and Bob Dylan and both with Dave Alvin) team up here on each other&#39;s songs. Outside the environment of a band, these talented composers and singers present their most personal and powerful work in our intimate environment. Tony Gilkyson&rsquo;s Bio: Born in Hollywood and reared in northern New Mexico, Tony Gilkyson&rsquo;s songs speak of ghosts, travels, dreams, and landscapes. A songwriter-guitarist, Tony began recording at a young age with his father, Terry Gilkyson. He has collaborated with songwriters John Doe and Chuck Weiss, as well as authors Deanne Stillman (*29 Palms*) and Michael Blake (*Dances with Wolves*). His musical style blends rock, folk, and Americana, with a distinctive guitar sound that combines traditional and modern influences. Throughout his career, Tony has worked with artists such as Dave Alvin, Lone Justice, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, K.D. Lang, and X. His songs reflect the folk, country, rock and Mexican influences he grew up with. Shea&rsquo;s toured both the US and Europe and kept a busy schedule for many years playing locally in So Calif.
