Bryan Howard, lifelong resident of Chico, husband and father of three, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Lung Cancer that spread to his brain and bones. Bryan was working with a team of doctors at Enloe Cancer Center and UCSF, for his treatments of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiation, which he was responding well to until his untimely passing on March 15, 2025. Due to the aggressive treatments, Bryan was not able to work, and the family is in the process of selling his business Bootleg BBQ and Catering. The heartache and hardships of battling this illness have been very overwhelming. Although learning of his passing to this cancer has been very difficult, we still feel it is important to continue with this fundraiser in his memory. Team registration has closed. Donations for the family are still being accepted.
