Curated Conversations brings neighbors, strangers, and friends into honest dialogue about our shared humanity. We gather around the table for good food, meaningful connection, and the kinds of conversations we don&#39;t always make space for in everyday life. We believe something powerful happens when we slow down, sit across from one another, share a meal, and get curious about the people around us and the everyday experiences that shape us. Around this table, you don&#39;t have to have the right answers. You simply get to come as you are. Our first gathering, Come Be Human, explores something we all have in common: our shared humanity. Together, we&#39;ll consider what it means to be human, where our experiences connect us, and what can happen when we choose to truly see and hear one another. Throughout the evening, a thoughtfully prepared meal by&nbsp;Chef Awo will become part of the experience, while trauma therapist Stephanie Vander Lugt helps us create space for honest, healthy conversation. Ranika Chaney will guide us through a series of carefully curated questions that move us from introductions to deeper conversation, reflection, and connection. This isn&#39;t a networking event. It isn&#39;t a panel. And you won&#39;t spend the evening listening to someone else talk.You are part of the conversation. Come hungry for good food and good conversation.No dress code. Seriously. As the founder of RanikaSpeaks, LLC., Ranika specializes in facilitating impactful events, panels, and discussions that foster connection, collaboration, and actionable outcomes. Affectionately known as the &ldquo;conversation curator&rdquo;, she uses her platform to create purpose-driven experiences that leave a lasting impact.&nbsp; IG: @ranikaspeaks Stephanie Anne Vander Lugt, LCSWA (Trauma Therapist)&nbsp;Stephanie Ann is a licensed clinician, ordained minister, and cofounder of Kinship Plot, integrating justice, healing, faith, hospitality, and ecology to support trauma recovery and communal transformation. Rooted in a call to help heal land, people, and communities, she spends her spare time in the garden, walking in the woods, weaving, sipping tea, and welcoming eclectic people around the table. Through Eh&rsquo;vivi, she combines familiar techniques with traditional flavors to create memorable dining experiences while sharing her culture and expanding the presence of Ghanaian cuisine in Charlotte and beyond. Her work is rooted in a passion for cultural storytelling through food, sustainability, and supporting local farmers. Chef Awo was named 2023 UPPYs Chef of the Year, 2024 Streatz Neighborhood Cookoff Champion, and recognized by Ebony Magazine as one of the female chefs shifting the culinary scene in the South.
