The Gala for a Cure event is an annual fundraiser for a rare paediatric condition, called Ornithine Transcarbamylase Deficiency (OTCD). This initiative is organized by CureOTCD in partnership with Rare Village Foundation as the fiscal sponsor. Funds raised will be donated to the Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC to support paediatric research for OTCD led by Dr. Ljubica Caldovic, and SickKids Hospital in Toronto to support research led by Dr. Zhenya Ivakine. This event is fully supported and endorsed by the honorable Nobel Prize Winner, Dr. Drew Weissman (2023). Together, we can cure paediatric OTCD.
