Event agenda: https://aapm2024.github.io/

The Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) presents its annual conference, a day-long event dedicated to addressing critical issues and fostering meaningful discussions within the academic and professional communities. The morning sessions feature two insightful panels:

1. Legal Experts Panel: This session brings together distinguished legal professionals to explore and discuss the latest challenges and developments related to student visas. Attendees will gain valuable insights into navigating the complexities of visa regulations and understand the broader implications for international students.

2. Policy Discussion Panel: Representatives from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), National Science Foundation (NSF), and National Institutes of Health (NIH) will engage in a dynamic discussion on strategies for attracting and retaining top talents. This panel aims to provide a comprehensive view of current policies and initiatives designed to enhance talent acquisition and retention in the U.S.

In the afternoon, AASF members will convene for the annual membership meeting. This session is dedicated to reviewing the year's activities, evaluating progress, and strategizing future initiatives to strengthen the forum's impact and reach. Members will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, contribute to the planning process, and collaborate on innovative solutions to advance the forum's mission.

Join us for a day of engaging panels, thoughtful discussions, and strategic planning at the AASF Annual Conference.
