The fee to participate in the Appalachia Help Weeks is $800 for those from outside the participating parishes.  We require an initial deposit of $300 per volunteer.  After that, volunteers from outside the participating parishes are required to raise/pay the remaining $500 by July 1.  There is no expectation of additional fundraising from these volunteers after the $800 total is reached (although it would be welcome!) FYI:  We use Zeffy as our online platform for collecting registration fees and donations.  Zeffy is a highly secured platform designed for nonprofits.  They do not charge a fee for the service.  Instead they ask each registrant/donor to add a little extra to their payment in order to continue providing the service.  YOU ARE IN NO WAY OBLIGATED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT TO YOUR REGISTRATION FEE; HOWEVER, IF YOU CHOOSE TO ADD AN AMOUNT, WE RECOMMEND $5 TO $10.
