An assortment of supplies will be provided for the kids to choose from to paint on extra large white papers. We will mix colors, squirt paint, flick paint, use brushes and sponges, fruit, cloth pieces and more! After the kids complete their masterpiece, they can clean off on a slip-and-slide.

Give your kids the opportunity to explore their creative side, make a mess, and clean off in a slip-and-slide with other homeschoolers. Space for this class is limited and tickets must be purchased before the event. Event location will be provided after payment is confirmed as it is a private residence.  We have two age group sessions: 10 & under (10 - 11:30AM) and 11 & over (12-1:30PM). You know your kids best and we trust your judgement on which group you will sign them up for. We also understand families with multiple siblings may want to The 11 & over class will have more technical guidance and a group project goal.  Parent participation is discouraged for most of our events - this event included! Parents will not be allowed in the paint space during this event. If you are interested in volunteering or donating supplies please see notes below and send us an email. A seating area will be provided for you but feel free to bring your own chair! You may drop off your child for this event.  What to wear:Ensure your children arrive in clothes they can get paint on. You may want to bring an extra change of clothes for the ride home. Kids may change in a specified changing area or our restroom after drying off.  What to bring:Kids must bring a towel. Feel free to bring your own drink and change of clothes for the ride home. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase during our event. Lunch time and other snack items will not be provided or scheduled for this event. All profits from snack and drink sales go towards CMHC, INC. Bring cash or be prepared to pay virtually using Zeffy QR codes provided.  Where:This event is at a private location. Once your tickets are purchased we will contact you with more details, including the event location address.  When:We only have 30 minutes between age groups to clean up and set up. While the kids are slippin' and sliding (11AM), we will begin the transition of the paint area. Volunteers are welcome. Please leave promptly when your event slot is over to ensure other homeschoolers have the same experience.  This event is led by Ms. LilyMs. Lily is a retired art teacher passionate about nonprofit work. She homeschools her teenage son and volunteers for several nonprofits in our community, including but not limited to the Marines, Challengers Little League and Western Little League. We are so grateful to have her on board! We may need additional monitoring parents during the event. Parents will not be allowed in the paint space during this event. A seating area is provided and you may accompany and watch your kid(s) on the slip-and-slide.  Many of our events will require little to no parent participation. Our goal is to give our kids the opportunity to learn from their peers, other adults in the community, and themselves. As a homeschool parent you work hard for your child's education. Take this time to relax, catch up, read a book, socialize with other homeschool parents or run a quick errand solo. We will handle the rest!
