Modern Canasta Play Session

Join neighbors for an afternoon of Modern Canasta play.  Both seasoned and novice players are encouraged to join in.  However, novice players should know the fundamentals of the game and have played at least a bit in the past.  Unfortunately, this session is not meant for those who have never played the game before. Playing cards and score sheets will be provided, but participants may bring their own card holders and trays if they wish.  Also,  play sessions (and/or tutorial sessions) might be possible in future if there is a high level of interest shown by the community. Game space is available for up to 12 players from North Bethesda Village with up to another 4 from the Davis Library.  Please register as an individual player or, if you already have a partner, you can register the partnership by designating your reservation for 2.  (Please note that only one of the partners should register.)  Any individual without a partner will be teamed up with another single player at the start of the session. The session will be held in the Davis Library meeting room on the lower level (to right of stairwell).  There is no charge for the session, but registration is requested to ascertain group size and interest.
