Join us for an exciting evening at Mount Trashmore on August 1st from 6-9pm, as we lace up for a walk/run fundraiser supporting Feed Iowa First, a local nonprofit dedicated to increasing food access by growing vegetables for under-resourced communities and supporting emerging farmers. This family-friendly event will be filled with live music, food trucks, and chances to win fantastic prizes. Every step you take will help raise vital funds to help feed members of our community in need, making a direct impact where it is needed most. 

See how many times you can climb the mountain! Come hike it once or a dozen times. A prize will be awarded to the person who makes the most climbs during the event. If you are participating in the Mount Trashmore Challenge you can count these climbs toward your total.

Not up for walking or running? Pull up a chair and enjoy the live music from the band Ducharme-Jones. A large-wheel stroller-friendly gravel route is available and babies and kids are welcome! 

Meet us at the top of the Mount at 8:30pm where we will announce prizes and watch the sunset over Cedar Rapids together.
