Associate/Public Membership – ($10.00)

Associate memberships are designed for Public Members whose professional expertise lies beyond the fields of Maya studies. These memberships are designed for anyone who wishes to be a part of the Maya Heritage Center.

• Associates can participate in our events such as meetings, conferences, or symposiums, to engage with existing members and foster a sense of community. 

• Join our Social Media Hangout: a program that offers Maya history, culture, and heritage for members’ awareness education, and community in general. 

• Be up-to-date on any upcoming events!

Honorary Members of Maya Heritage – ($50.00) 

Honorary members are distinguished groups recognized for their exceptional contributions to the preservation and promotion of Maya culture. This membership earns a special place within our community, embodying a shared commitment to celebrating and safeguarding the heritage of the Maya civilization. As Honorary Members, they stand as esteemed advocates, contributing to the enduring legacy of Maya Heritage through their expertise, passion, and unwavering dedication.

• Honorary members can participate in our events such as meetings, conferences or symposiums, to engage with existing members and foster a sense of community. 

• Join our Social Media Hangout: a program that offers Maya history, culture, and heritage for members’ awareness education, and community in general. 

• Honorary members are recognized and celebrated through awards, certificates, and other forms of recognition. 

• Honorary members may expressly use the Maya Heritage Center logos for purposes similar to those of the Maya Heritage Center. 

• Experience exclusive perks as a Maya Heritage Center Annual Symposium member, including event discounts, access to specialized resources and LINK FOR OUR publications, and priority registration for our programs.

• Honorary members are eligible to vote in member-wide elections and receive privileges as designated by the Board of Trustees.

Institutional Members of Maya Heritage – ($100.00)

Our highest level of membership is designed for Institutional Members who wish to supportMaya Heritage Center at a high level with a range of exclusive benefits as a token of our appreciation for their generous commitment.

• Institutional members can participate in our events such as meetings, conferences or symposiums, to engage with existing members and foster a sense of community. 

• Join our Social Media Hangout: a program that offers Maya history, culture, and heritage for members’ awareness and education and community in general. 

• Institutional members are recognized and celebrated through awards, certificates, and other forms of recognition. 

• Institutional members may expressly use the Maya Heritage Center logos for purposes similar to those of the Maya Heritage Center. 

• Opportunity to provide feedback through surveys, ensuring that your interests, preferences, and satisfaction with Maya Heritage Center programs and services are considered and valued.

• Experience exclusive perks as a Maya Heritage Center Annual Symposium member, including event discounts, access to specialized resources and publications, and priority registration for our programs.

• Professors, staff, or other members of institutions and organizations can create collaboration agreements with our organization dedicated to the preservation, research, and promotion of Maya heritage.

• The opportunity to participate as a committee member, collaborating with fellow members, to concentrate on specific areas of interest or strategic priorities for the Maya Heritage Center.

• Institutional Member Representatives are eligible to vote in institutional elections and receive privileges as designated by the Board of Trustees.

Affiliated Research Center Representatives – ($ 150.00)

Affiliated Research Center Representatives represent research centers affiliated with Maya heritage. The 

Affiliated Research Centers include the (i) institutions in Mexico, ii) Guatemala, (iii) in Belize, (iv) in Honduras, and (v) El Salvador. As a valued representative, you play a pivotal role in fostering collaborative efforts and advancing the research and preservation initiatives of the Maya Heritage Center. Explore the unique opportunities and benefits tailored to support your engagement in our shared commitment to the rich cultural legacy of the Maya civilization. 

• Affiliated Research Center Representatives members can participate in our events such as meetings, conferences, or symposiums, to engage with existing members and foster a sense of community.

• Institutional members are recognized and celebrated through awards, certificates, and other forms of recognition.
