The Yene Foundation is organizing a Paint Night event at Bole Express, a local Ethiopian restaurant, in collaboration with other organizations (Blick, Big Family, & Yilmoni). The event's primary goal is to raise funds for Parkinson's Patient Support Organization Ethiopia to enhance its capacity to provide care and treatment for Parkinson's disease patients in Ethiopia. All profits from the event will be donated to Parkinson's Patient Support Organization Ethiopia to provide medicine, physical and speech therapy, mobile toilets, wheelchair, transportation, and caregiver services for Parkinson's disease patients in Ethiopia.  All tickets are also raffles for a chance to enter to win art pieces by Ethiopia Artists! There will be four opportunities to win in this raffle. The event is during Parkinson's disease awareness month in the Twin Cities, where participants can engage in an enjoyable and interactive painting session while partaking in food & refreshments. The event's underlying objective is to increase awareness of Parkinson's disease and the challenges patients face in Ethiopia. By doing so, the Yene Foundation and Parkinson's Patient Support Organization Ethiopia aim to gain more significant support for their shared mission to improve access to health resources and provide sustainable treatment for Parkinson's disease patients in East African communities. The event fosters community involvement and engagement in the fight against Parkinson's disease. Attendees can learn about the disease, its implications for patients and their families, and how they can contribute to the cause. The Yene Foundation and Parkinson's Patient Support Organization Ethiopia aspire to establish a community of advocates and supporters for Parkinson's disease patients in Ethiopia through this event. The Paint Night event arranged by the Yene Foundation at Bole Express is a fun and engaging way to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's Patient Support Organization Ethiopia.
