Formerly a dairy operation, the farm has grown vegetables and produced flowers, eggs, and honey for the past 15 years.  This after-school program allows children to visit the farm each Wednesday afternoon to play and explore on the farm.  They will perform garden chores, care for the chickens, explore the Nature Trail, do crafts, and learn basic woodland survival skills. The program encourages children to embrace outdoor activities.  Mixed ages resemble sibling feel for this small group educational series. Choose your six week session on either Wednesdays or Thursdays starting Sept. 25. Drop off at Massaro around 3:30 pm. Pick up your child at Massaro Farm between 5-5:30pm. No later than 5:30

This program runs rain or shine. A suggested change of shoes is recommended because the ground can be wet or muddy. This is very much an outdoor program, weather permitting. We have both indoor and outdoor restrooms and your child may be expected to use our very clean and serviced porta potties while we await the construction of additional outdoor restrooms.
