Join us for a special tour  and reception with the artist of  THE NET WORKS: a multi-sensory installation built upon the narrative of Gloucester’s fishing community Sunday, May 26 from 3:30-4:30 pm Manship Artist Erika Senft Miller will offer a private tour to Prometheus Circle Members on Sunday, May 26, the day before The Net Works exhibition closes on Memorial Day. This will be an opportunity to experience being in the Net with a behind the scenes look at what it took to bring about this tremendous community engagement project. WHERE: The Pink Building behind Mom's Kitchen and across from the Beauport Hotel               52 Commercial Street, Gloucester, MA PARKING: St. Peter's Square This project was supported by YOU!, by the Prometheus Circle with residency stays at the Manship Artists Residency. Early funding was provided by the New England Foundation for the Arts in the form of a learning grant. The project also received grants from The Vermont Arts Council, The Bruce J. Anderson Foundation, Awesome Gloucester, and other forms of support from the Manship Artists Residency, Burlington City Arts, The Cape Ann Museum, and Maritime Gloucester. Owner of Intershell, Monte Rome, donated the exhibition space. <a href="https://www.maritimegloucester.org/networks" target="_blank">The exhibition will be open to the public on specific days and times from May 10th through Memorial Day</a>.  Casual attire.
