Pickle + Puppies (@pickleandpuppies) is teaming up with Desert Dog Project (@desertdogproject)! Desert Dog Project is dedicated to providing funds for dogs in medical need, ensuring that every dog, especially those who face medical challenges in the shelter world, has a fair shot at a happy and fulfilling life. 

Date + Time: Sunday June 30th with a 11:00am check-in and 11:30am start time.  

Location: Picklemall, Arizona Mills - 5000 S Arizona Mills Cir Suite 313, Tempe, AZ  

Format: Minor League Pickleball (MLPlay™) - Each team has 4 players (2 women and 2 men). Price: $200 / team (must register and pay as a team).

Brackets: DUPR 16, 8 teams per bracket. Teams’ DUPRs will be verified at time of registration t If a player doesn't have a DUPR rating, they'll be defaulted to a rating of 4.0 in DUPR 16.

Balls provided: DuraFast 40 MLPlay™

Format:

• Team matches are composed of four 15-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! 
• In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every 3 rallies until someone gets to 15 and wins by two points. Rally scoring = a team gets a point regardless of who is serving. 
• Players don't change positions after every point gained. Team can call a timeout to have players switch positions. 
• Switch sides at 8.
• No freeze on 14; winning team has to win by 2 and on their serve.

Refund Policy: Since this is for charity, we're not offering any refunds unless there are extenuating circumstances. Otherwise, if someone is unable to play (refund or not) - we ask they find a replacement that'll ensure their team is still ok given the DUPR 16 / 18 requirements.
