Our new Deepening Your Practice: Continuing Education for End-of-Life Doulas educational series is designed to give end-of-life doulas ongoing opportunities to deepen their knowledge, strengthen their skills, and feel more confident in their work.&nbsp; Our first course, Understanding the Role of a Doula, will be led by KC End of Life Doula Kathy Benich. Together, we&rsquo;ll explore what it truly means to serve as an end-of-life doula, including our role, scope, boundaries, and the many ways we can support individuals and families throughout the end-of-life journey. Whether you&#39;re interested in becoming a doula, newly trained or have been practicing for years, we hope you&#39;ll join us as we continue learning and growing together as we deepen our practice.
